8/28/2023 0 Comments Sil air 15a![]() There is a glass bubble on the rear of the compressor under the electronics box that allows you to check the oil level at a glance, which is especially handy if you are refilling it. It's much easier than trying to drip it in via the oil inlet on the side, which is at a curious angle, and a bit narrow, so once you've checked on how that affects your guarantee, unscrew the lid and be done with any faffing. The compressor is hidden away inside the rear of the unit, and has a removable lid that is held in place by a retention strap, which can be unscrewed to open the compressor to add the correct quantity of oil. Removing the cover is simple, requiring the user to undo just 6 bolts, then lift off the part carefully for easy access to the internals. It has rubberised feet that dampen any vibration against the floor, a large thick-gauge steel cover that is powder coated and bolted to the chassis onto which all the other parts are attached. It is roughly double the height of the smaller models, and weighs in at an impressive 18.3kg, which makes the user glad there's a carry-handle on the top to lug it about. The D model is larger than the others, and has a much bigger receiver that holds up to four litres of compressed air at up to 87psi (6bar). ![]() For transport to the user they are supplied drained of oil and with an oil bottle supplied in the package to refill it prior to its first use, and if you move house or transport your unit further than the end of the garden, it's a good idea to follow their lead. It also means that you should keep the compressor on a level surface, and always upright. The compressor within is a refrigerator type oil-filled unit, which requires the best part of a litre of oil for operation, and this should be changed annually to prolong reliability. They all have on/off switches, an air filter to keep contaminants from entering the receiver, and an adjustable regulator with built-in moisture trap. This makes for an efficient set-up that requires minimal input from the user other than to set the pressure they require. The Automatic compressors have a cut-off valve that stops the motor running when the receiver is up to pressure, and re-starts it once the pressure has dropped past a certain level. The hobby end of their range are the Sil-Air 15 models, and they start with a small receiver tank of around a litre to remove both the need for the motor to run constantly, and to remove the pulse from the airline that can affect the spray pattern of your airbrush under some circumstances. This renders them almost inaudible in a quiet room, and once you add some background noise or music, you'll not hear a thing until the tank is full and the relief-valve blows off. Their Sil-Air brand is well known as being amongst the quietest compressors in the market, being somewhere around the noise levels of a very quiet computer at 28-31db. Italian company Werther make a large number of compressors both under their own name, and for other companies around the world. 8/28/2023 0 Comments Labchart download free![]() This cookie is set by GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. 8/28/2023 0 Comments Liquid gold for bullies![]() I will never forget his words of wisdom about being happy in life and how it was short. He was a large piece of my life and I still feel his presence, sometimes more than others. Maybe the loss of my brother had caught up with me. The road in front of me was much smaller and nondescript - unwritten. The portion behind me was long and beautiful with tremendous love and happiness. It looked much like a road with me in the middle of it. I awoke with a very clear picture of my life. I guess you could call this my sign or ‘aha’ moment. I even researched other professions, sort of the “What do I want to do when I grow up?” scenario. We looked at ways of supplementing our income and made a list. We cut expenses and started putting everything into savings. My husband and I began to plan for the inevitable. She had been targeted before, but that was then and this was now. One co-worker would whisper words of encouragement, knowing full well what it felt like. Going to work while pretending everything was normal became more difficult with each passing day. However, it was taking its toll by impacting my health and home life. Financially, we would take a big hit, and I wasn’t sure that we would fully recover. Walking away meant cutting our income almost in half until I rebuilt my clientele. My days were full and I was compensated well for what I did. After working in the same city since 1999, I had acquired quite a large clientele. Much like a hair stylist, I rely on repeat business, and it usually comes from the same people, with the addition of new ones, on a regular basis. Walking away meant starting from scratch. Nothing seemed to help, but I couldn’t just walk away. Constantly looking for a sign: “Is there anything I can do to change the situation, or is it beyond repair? Basically, should I stay or should I go?” I read everything I could find on how to make this now toxic work environment a better place for me and applied what I could when I could. I turned to my best friends - all three professionals with successful careers and each with their own challenges behind or ahead of them. No one, in my opinion, has better advice than him. Seeking advice, I turned to my husband, a teacher who has spent years trying to make schools a better place. Reluctant to give in, I dedicated myself to improving the situation in whatever way I could. Bullies often engage in aggressive finger pointing, invade personal space and use touch as a measure of control (a bone-crushing handshake) or a means to patronize (a pat on the head).” The body language of bullies includes staring, glaring or totally ignoring the target when he/she speaks. They yell, insult, throw tantrums, steal credit, spread rumors, withhold crucial information and/or socially isolate their targets by excluding them. Bullies at work practice psychological violence. “By definition, workplace bullying is the repeated, health-harming mistreatment of an employee in the form of verbal abuse or behaviors that are threatening, intimidating or humiliating. 8/27/2023 0 Comments Uninstall xcode from mcSamsung Galaxy S7s Overheating Because of Oculus App Update-Here's What to Do Get Unlimited Trials of Popular Software (& Bypass Time-Restricted Hotspots for Free WiFi)ģ Ways to Delete Facebook Without Root - Even if It Was Preinstalled on Your Phone Theme Windows with Mac OS X, Ubuntu, & Other Skins Goodbye, Bloatware! “Our lyrics are about finding the strength to keep living through pain and hard times. They said that The Black Parade in particular had “hope and courage” as a message. “We have always made it one of our missions through our actions to provide comfort, support, and solace to our fans,” they wrote at the time, while noting they were “anti-violence and anti-suicide”. The emo-blaming reaction of the media drew outrage, and spawned protests from fans as well as a firm response from the band. “When you saw the marches, a lot of people were shouting very clearly the Mexican words or insults people use for gay,” Grillo said. Speaking to NPR, journalist Ioan Grillo attributed the conflict to class differences and homophobia. The following year, violence against emo fans spilled over into Mexico, where three teenagers were severely beaten in Queretaro, north of Mexico City. ![]() In 2007, hard rock and MCR fan Sophie Lancaster was beaten to death by a mob of strangers in Bacup, Lancashire, targeted, police said, because she was dressed in a gothic style. Photograph: Jenny Matthews/AlamyĪrguably, the vilification of the genre put fans at risk. In his inquest into Bond’s death, the coroner Roger Sykes concluded: “the emo overtones concerning death and associating it with glamour I find very disturbing”.Ī demonstration by fans of the band after the Daily Mail said the group encouraged suicidal thinking. Coverage of her death zeroed in on her love of emo music one Mail Online headline screamed “Why no child is safe from the sinister cult of emo”, while another article on the same site called MCR a “suicide cult” band. In 2008, MCR were linked in the news to 13-year-old Kent girl Hannah Bond, a fan who died by suicide. ![]() But parts of the media scapegoated this side of the band as the cause, not a symptom, of a burgeoning youth mental health crisis. “The triumph of the human spirit over darkness was something that was kind of built into the DNA of the band from the beginning,” Way said last year. Way’s emotionally vulnerable, often raw lyrics made no secret of tough times. MCR also faced unique pressures on top of the toll of visibility: as the world’s highest profile emo band, they were at best frequently misunderstood, even dangerously misconstrued, and became the subject of a moral panic worthy of the days of Mary Whitehouse. “I needed the last seven or eight years to process that experience,” he said last year. In the years since, Way has been open about how difficult fame was for him to navigate, describing it as “extremely traumatic”, and has stressed the importance of therapy to his wellbeing. To the shock of many, the group called it quits in 2013. MCR’s final album to date, 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, was yet another departure, which drew on bratty punk, swaggering 80s rock and new wave’s colourful keyboards. Driven by the UK No 1 hit Welcome to the Black Parade, a multi-part epic in the spirit of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, the band embraced Bowie-calibre shapeshifting, Pink Floyd’s grandeur and glam rock’s sledgehammer riffs on 2006’s The Black Parade. In the wake of that album’s success, My Chemical Romance (MCR) swiftly shifted gear once again. Their music took a darker turn on 2004’s breakthrough, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, an album influenced by the Cure’s gloomiest moments and the gothic-tinged punk fury of Misfits and the Damned. Led by vocalist Gerard Way, a talented comic artist who grew up listening to punk, metal and Britpop, they started off scrapping in New Jersey’s early 00s basement-venue hardcore circuit alongside bands such as Thursday. The difference is that back then, they were unlikely superstars, misfits who inadvertently infiltrated the mainstream – now, they return to a pop cultural landscape they helped to define. ![]() It’s not an unusual state of affairs: before their 2013 breakup, the US four-piece frequently headlined arenas and festivals.
